Tiger Kingdom Zoo
Kingdom of Tiger Zoo in Phuket It is a well-known tourist attraction, which was first opened in Chiang Mai in the north in 2008, in March. Due to the huge popularity of the place, a second branch was opened in July 2013, on the island of Phuket, and later, a tiger learning and research center was also established in the same place. The main activity of this center is the conservation of this wonderful animal, through education, veterinary research and tiger breeding within this framework.
It’s hard not to be impressed by the big cats, the spectacular tigers, known as one of the most amazing and impressive animal species in nature. Although many of us raise cats at home, these are quite different from those exotic, wild and much larger tigers. In nature, it is almost impossible to see them, and even more so to meet them closely. This encounter is very rare and dangerous and often impossible due to their remote and isolated living areas. Tigers are known as powerful animals, with sharp teeth and claws, which are capable of quickly catching their prey and killing it. At the same time, when they are in captivity, the story is completely different and you can interact with them and meet them up close without fear (under supervision, of course).
Tiger Kingdom Zoo Phuket prides itself on the comfortable and caring living environment it has created for tigers, with all venue revenues dedicated to the care of animals born there and their conservation. Visitors are exposed to tigers, which are bred in the zoo in captivity and at the same time to the plight of wild tigers, which live for them all over the world, including Thailand itself. They can pet, hug and even take pictures with them and be as close as they can ever be, and even more so when tigers are released and raised in the wild. The purpose of the place is to provide a special experience, a once-in-a-lifetime experience of up close encounters with tigers, as well as to help conserve tigers and the entire environment.
At the zoo, visitors can see tigers of different ages face-to-face and enjoy a close-up encounter that lasts approximately ten minutes. There are different types of tickets that can be purchased: packages, which offer different experiences and different tiger encounters. These sessions are not suitable for people who require walking aids or are in a wheelchair, as they require the ability to kneel and stand up quickly without assistance.Tiger Kingdom Zoo in Phuket It is a well-known tourist attraction, which has been first opened in Chiang Mai in the north in 2008, in March.
