Alghero-Fertilia Airport
Alghero-Fertilia Airport, officially known as “Aeroporto di Alghero-Fertilia," is situated near Fertilia, approximately 8 kilometres north of Alghero and about 25 kilometres southwest of Sassari. The airport commenced operations in March 1938 as a military facility. Post-World War II, the runway was extended and enhanced to support increased aviation activities. In the early 1960s, civil aviation operations transitioned to the eastern side of the airport, utilising an old hangar as a passenger terminal. A dedicated passenger terminal was constructed in 1971, and during the mid-1970s, the runway was further extended to its current length of 3,000 metres, making it one of the longest in Italy.

Alghero-Fertilia Airport (Aeroporto di Alghero-Fertilia) is served by several airlines connecting Sardinia to various national and international destinations. Here are the main airlines operating from the airport, along with links to their official booking sites:
Ryanair: The Irish low-cost carrier offers flights to various European cities.
