Nude Beaches
The municipality of Villasimius offers a stretch of coast called Porto Sa Ruxi, with small free beaches where you can practice nudism. Their peculiarity is the diversity of the landscape: rocks, natural dunes, pebbles and sand alternate. Here, you will have the opportunity to relax in the shade of the juniper trees in the Mediterranean scrub which is close to the beach. To reach it, take the Litoranea in Cagliari and, once you have passed the Capo Boi promontory, you will find a dirt road on the right. From the largest nudist beach in Europe to the most intimate coves among the rocks, Sardinia offers nudists endless possibilities, each more spectacular than the other. You can walk on 100m high dunes, or swim where a freshwater spring meets the sea, all against the characteristic background of the Mediterranean scrub.
Porto Ferro
Between Capo Caccia and Capo dell’Argentiera there is this beach made up of reddish sand and partly free from establishments, where nudism is authorized. To reach it you can park at the end of Via Monte Airatu and from there continue on foot through the pine forest. Once you reach the beach, head north for about a kilometer to reach the stretch between Torre Bianca and Torre Nigra, where nudists gather.
Piscinas
It is the largest nudist beach in Europe. The Costa Verde of Sardinia is particularly wild: this coastline extends for about eight kilometers, while the part dedicated to naturism, south of the establishments, is 800m wide. You can reach it comfortably by car, parking near the beach, from where you can admire the dunes of Piscinas. In this area there are spectacular sand dunes up to 100m high, on which you can climb to admire the blue of the Mediterranean.
Porto Liscia
Also known as Sciumara del Liscia, this elongated beach is located west of Santa Teresa di Gallura, close to the Via La Sciumara car park. The first stretch you take can be quite crowded, but towards the west you will encounter the quieter area. It is not officially recognized as a nudist beach, but the practice is well tolerated.
Lido di Orrì
In Tortolì, on the east coast, there is one of the most popular nudist beaches in Sardinia. It is nine kilometers long and divided into small inlets separated by rocks. The sand is soft and clear, while the seabed is slightly sloping. You can reach it from the SS 125 following the signs first for Tortolì and then for Lido di Orrì.
Spiaggia dell'Acqua dolce
